Android Emulator is a software application that enables you to run Android apps and games on a PC by emulating Android OS. Otherwise, you just need to hope that the open-source community solves this eventually, or try to become a part of that yourself. WoW Companion App is an Android app and cannot be installed on Windows PC or MAC directly. If you really want to see if CrossOver would support WoW, try contacting them to ask if they’ll work on it. Your only other option that I know is to keep an older Mac or a Windows PC around to play WoW.

Of course, Parallels is a paid product, but you can at least download a trial and see if it works for you. many Microsoft applications on your Mac without a clunky Windows emulator. These new Macs have a completely different architecture from what old WoW was built to run on. I’d love for someone to show me I’m wrong, but it looks like the compatibility work required to make x86 apps work on ARM/M1 chips simply has not come far enough yet, at least on the Mac side. I got the same error when attempting to use a 1.6 client on an M1 Mac in Crossover.
